⤱ Vivianite ⤱

Vivianite is an iron phosphate mineral that can be found as earthy masses as well as blue or green crystals. Its formula is Fe3(PO4)2.8H2O.

This is a vivianite on fluorite specimen from the Mt Bischoff Mine, Waratah, Tasmania, and the crystal group is about 6 or 7mm across.
